Luxury resort in uninterrupted operation using UPS

A large hotel unit with a total area of ​​10,000 acres in the southwestern Peloponnese area chose ACE Power Electronics for the supply of 42 UPS On Line technology. In particular, it is a state-of-the-art complex that hosts luxury hotels, dining venues, conference centers, numerous sports facilities and cultural activities.

One of the luxury resorts of the complex, entrusted the company ACE Power Electronics for the most complete protection from electrical current disturbances and the uninterrupted operation of the electrical equipment. For the installation, the hotel’s engineers chose a total of 42 UPSs intended to support the resorts. Of these UPS 41 belong to the Neo Pro+ 6K series and one to the Neo II 3/3 10K series. All UPS continuously supply electrical loads such as lighting, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, etc.

Among the main advantages of UPS Neo Pro+ and Neo II 3/3 is the ECO mode, which concerns energy saving. In particular, this function offers high efficiency, up to 97% to reduce energy consumption and operating costs. The UPS supplies the loads via static by pass, returning to double conversion mode when the need arises. At the same time, they have the feature of power factor correction, in which the correction is active on all phases and thus increases the efficiency at the input.
